How Well Do You Know Your Country?

I found these questions on our local newspaper's web site. It seems that the Immigration Service is trying to revise the questions asked on the citizenship test. I got them all correct, there is more than one answer to a couple of them, and the answers are posted in a comment. See how well you can do.

1: Why do we have three branches of government?

2: Name two ways that Americans can participate in their democracy.

3: Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream for America. What was his dream?

4: Name one important idea found in the Declaration of Independence.
