President Ford Lies in State in the Capitol RotundaDecember 30, 2006 - January 2, 2007
The President's casket sits on the same catafalque that was built, rather hastily, for President Lincoln after his assassination. The casket will remain in the Capitol Rotunda until Tuesday morning, when it will be moved to the Washinton National Cathedral for the formal funeral.
