Crazy Child

There was a child.
He was very annoyed so he smiled.
He wanted alone time
but the clock would chime.
He wanted some pie
but by the by
the door bell rang
and a girl sang.
He went to the park
and heard a dog bark.
He went to his room
but heard a broom.
Then he decided that
he will sleep like a bat.
He's gone crazy
but he's not lazy.
He still smiled,
that crazy child.


Nicholas' language arts teacher really liked this poem. He wrote it for a class assignment that was related to the book "Homeless Bird". She said that his poem was the best in all of her classes. She said it was right on with it's tone and it's everything.
