I'm So Tired Of This Crap

I may take some flack from this, but here it goes:

Why, oh why does anyone ask Al Sharpton what he thinks? Doesn't everyone know already that he thinks all white people are racists and that black people are infallible?

Don Imus screwed up. What he said was wrong. But why do we have to keep apologizing to the black population of this country for every little thing? There was a man on Paula Zahn's show the other night who is a black minister who thinks that it is the black population that is racist. Their feelings get hurt at every turn. White people have to walk around on egg shells watching what we say so that it doesn't offend a black person.

Blacks need to get over it already. There are more black men in jail because they are commiting the crimes. There are less blacks in colleges because less black students are graduating high school. There are more black kids in gangs, stealing cars and acting like they are entitled to whatever they want to take than white kids. That's why they end up in worse situations than whites. And when they do end up in jail, it is the white person's fault.

As Dr. Phil says, "Do you have any ownership in the situation? If so, own it." Own the fact that it seems that it is ok to call black women "ho's" because that is what black men call them and what other black women call each other. Own the fact that black men have perpetuated the use of the "n" word and that they have put up the front of being thugs. Own it if you did it. Don't make it the white person's fault.

Why are we apologizing so much? Own the fact that you said it. If you said it and you don't regret it, say so. Stop apologizing to Al Sharpton because he won't accept it. Stop letting Al Sharpton in the conversation in the first place. He's an idiot. He's a racist. He's a biggot. He is SO not worthy of the words coming out of his mouth.
