Nick is still in the hospital. We thought he might go home today, but his doctor drained his infection this morning and it was worse than she thought it was, so he has to stay at least one more day on the IV.
Nick's doctor is a crazy woman. She is great! She absolutely loves to drain staph infections. She thinks it is the funnest thing to do. And did she ever have a good time this morning. Nick's foot drained forever. Even with the bandages on it there is still drainage.
Enough of that. Nick is doing better and he doesn't remember the procedure, so that is a good thing. His foot is looking so much better and he is sleeping better and it doesn't hurt near as much.
Hopefully we will get him home tomorrow.
