Time For Some Checks and Balances

What a time we are having in this country. Our congressional leaders are turning out to be pond scum, a la Foley and his cronies, our president has somehow managed to get the Saddam verdict to come out two days before the election, and now the so called leader of the Christian Conservative movement is gay. Who'd a thunk it?

Me. All of these holier than thou people out there had to come crashing down sooner or later. All of them truly believe they are entitled to issue edicts as to what we can do when, when they are guilty of the things they don't want us to do themselves. It all catches up to one eventually.

When the Republicans lose control over the House and Senate on Tuesday and the Democrats regain veto power, the country will see what checks and balances is all about. There are no checks and balances with on party in total control. The Republicans have given Bush a blank check and it's time that is voided. His advisors are full of caca and are falling fast. Now it's time to stick it to the rest of them.
