Racism: I Am Sick of the Conversation

I am so sick of the racism talk in this country. NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT RACE! CAN'T WE GET THAT THROUGH OUR HEADS?

I just heard someone on CNN say that we need to have this conversation because of the continuing racial tension in this country. But she says that we can't because people don't want to talk about it out of some sort of fear.

Well, anytime a white person tries to talk about whether or not they are racist, and tries to have that conversation with a black person, the white person is automatically racist no matter what they say, so why try? Just like on the Real World last week. One of the girls said that she was walking in the "ghetto" and one of the black guys said "why is it that when you are in a poor area you are always in the ghetto?" It was just a frickin' word, yet she was accused of being racist.

Get over it already, we are not all racist, but if you keep treating us like we are, we certainly could be real quick.
