Learning to Watermark Photos

A good blogging friend of mine Lara over at Overstuffed has a great tutorial on her blog for Photoshop. I have learned from her how to make the headers I have used for my blog and now I have learned how to watermark my photos.

Lara started doing this not because she is, as she puts it, a photo snob, but because it discourages anyone from stealing any of her photographs for uses that she doesn't approve. I have wanted to do this too, and I tried in the past, but now I think I have it down and will start using this feature on all my pictures I want to use here on my blog and on facebook. Here is my first attempt:


Notice my name at the bottom and the copyright underneath. Neat, huh?

So, if you see this on my pictures, please know that I am aware that you may decide to copy them and use them, but I would rather you didn't.
