Port Arthur's Memorial High School 9th Grade campus is under fire from all sides because of a fight that broke out at school last week. The parents and students want the principal reassigned.
I don't think this is the solution to the problem. I think it is like was reported on the news tonight that it is a gang problem, and that the parents should take responsiblity for their own children and stop expecting the schools to clean up their mess.
I don't ever expect the school to fix a problem that I should handle myself. If this is truly a gang problem, then the parents need to take care of the problem themselves. They need to stop expecting the schools to make up for their shortcomings.
Get over it and deal with your kids. It's not the school's fault.
