This is the person that the Republicans think is well versed in the issues? Read this excerpt from Katie Couric's interview with Sarah Palin and see if you don't find yourself asking...huh?

COURIC: Why isn’t it better, Governor Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries? … Instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?

PALIN: Ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up the economy– Oh, it’s got to be about job creation too. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions.

Do you really think she knows anything? I don't think so. What do health care and job creation and tax reductions have to do with this $700B bailout? Some might say that it all "trickles down" but we have had that scenario before, do we need to go back to it again? She was totally off point and always is. She never directly answers a question. She never gives an example of her experience - Russia can be seen from Alaska is her only example of her foreign policy experience. She said it herself, so don't think I am making it up or finding it somewhere on a blog or quoting a liberal spin machine.

This woman has no business being in the VP chair. She has no business being on the ticket.
