Here's To Good Friends

Ok...Not that I am partisan or anything...but...

The Republican leadership has already decided that they are going to put down the Obama administration on the basis of the party-line vote for the stimulus package...this is nuts. They are the ones who decided to vote against it and not work with the new administration. Why are they saying that the change that was promised is not what is happening? It can't happen without the cooperation of all of the lawmakers...not just the Democrats.

I really wish that they would try to see if things are going to change and be part of that change before they go on the Sunday talk shows to voice their disapproval. But, isn't this what we have come to expect from the Republicans? They don't want to work WITH anyone, they just want to lord over everyone and have it their way or no way. Well I for one have had it with that mindset...we have been putting up with that for the last 8 years.

President Obama will bring the change, but the Republicans have to be willing to work with him instead of against him. After all, their leadership is what put us in this financial mess in the first place. It's time to get out of it. It's time for them to admit they messed up and try to help fix it. But, we all know it won't happen that way. They will cry and have hissy fits until they have made things so bad that it can't get better. And they will still blame it on the new president.

And for all of you out there who believe what they are preaching...I feel for you. You are being fed a line of bullshit that has been the status quo for the last 8 years and you still can't see it. You still believe it and you will never change. Change. Get it? You need to change. At least the new president is trying.
